Why tithing is different from ordinary giving

Why tithing is different from ordinary giving

1. It is because motivation is more important than action. Man looks at the appearance but God looks at the heart. Or is that not in your Bible? So you stand in front of the church to receive the blessings of the tither, by God sees something else, he see a set of people who do not believe that the sacrifice of Jesus is enough. He sees a set of people who trusts in their own works for justification.
Do you understand?

2. You cannot tithe and give in love at the same time. Love does not think about itself. But you cannot tithe and not think about yourself.
Do you understand?

3. You cannot tithe without being motivated by fear. But God has not given you the spirit of fear. Also, fear has torment.

4. Tithing is a classic picture of self righteousness.

Jesus said so. He said the Pharisees seeking to justify himself says “I tithe very well.”

5. Tithing is deception. It tells the lie that Jesus is not enough

6. Tithing is law. It contradicts the grace of Jesus

7. Tithing is bondage, it contradicts our liberty in Christ
